While Teaching Kindergarten Chaplain Charlotte said she enjoyed reading the bible stories to the children because the majority of her students developed excellent social skills and they showed improvements with being good listeners. She also noticed that the children cooperated with her and her assistant teacher on a regular basis. Charlotte believed in using positive reinforcement strategies because it made the children try very hard to be courteous and kind to each other. Why? Because they loved the praises and compliments that she gave them when they applied the positive behavioral attitudes that they studied about during bible story time.
